Jack's Story...
This handsome young man is around 7 years old, is Large in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he appears to be a sweet & loving young man, happy, active, full of love & fun, pretty well mannered, playful, Jack's owner said that he got along with dogs, cats and children, house trained and enjoyed rides in the car and is a special boy that is in need of a family to love.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Jack's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paw and giving him a little kiss and hug. Jack appeared to past the test with no problems, Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Jack to play and be safe in. We feel he may make an active fun loving family member and companion. If you wish, Jack can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Jack. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Grass Valley Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
