Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Iris was found hungry and scared by a caring citizen in Detroit who reached out to our organization after taking her to the vet for evaluation. Iris was heartworm positive. Knowing the likelihood of her being spared in a shelter would have been slim, she begged us to please take her. Our obstacle was that we did not have a foster home available, however we agreed Iris deserved another chance! We decided to take Iris and placed her in boarding while actively searching for a foster. She was successfully treated for the heartworm and is now HW negative. She is a healthy, happy member of an active foster family, including foster siblings that bark and meow. Well adjusted, Iris loves to run and play with other dogs.
Iris is a very sweet girl. Show her attention and she will reciprocate with loving kisses. She continues to make progress on her manners. Don't miss the chance of having a lifetime of gratitude and love from Iris. Begin the process now by completing our adoption application. http://www.providingforpaws.org/adoption-and-foster-forms.html
The adoption fee is $250, which includes all vaccines, spay and microchip.
