Katie's Story...
Katie is a 5 month puppy who was left in a drop box at a dog pound. She is a shepherd/hound mix and weighs about 25 pounds. She is a very sweet natured puppy and doesn't bark much. Katie may need some help with house training as she has been in a kennel for about a month, but she is eager to please and responds well to love and praise. Katie is spayed and up to date on shots and worming. She will be a wonderful family member as she likes kids, cats, and dogs. Do you have room at your house for this precious pup?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a Osseo Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
