Billy's Story...
Billy was a stray so we don’t know much about his former life but we do know that he bonds quickly and will be your Best Friend Forever! He’s young, about a year old, weighs 11 lbs and has a great disposition. He will be your shadow following wherever you go and will always sit by your side. Since he needs companionship, it would be better for him to go to a home where there is someone home all day. He gets along well with other dogs but we don’t know how he would be with cats. Billy is new to rescue so we will be learning more about him as time goes by.

If you are interested in finding out more about Billy, please fill out an application. Billy is being fostered in Holbrook.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Billy, a Worcester Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
