Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roxy is a gentle, kind soul—a sweet Boxer girl with some Staffordshire Terrier, between 18 and 24 months old. She has a tall slender physique, shaped most like a Boxer, weighs a petite 45 pounds, and is very easy to manage.
Roxy was best friends with a little Dachshund, when she lived happily with a family with an autistic boy, also her best friend. The family’s medical bills became insurmountable, changing their lives dramatically, which included giving up their lovely dogs.
Roxy was rescued just in time before they were to leave her at a shelter where she would undoubtedly have been killed immediately, as she would have been an owner turn-in, not a stray or lost pup.
Roxy’s favorite thing to do is to dive into the water and fetch tennis balls :o) Roxy gets along with other pups, kids of course, and people. We know nothing about her behavior around cats, therefore we do not recommend a home with cats at this time.
Roxy is house trained, spayed, vaccinated, and patiently waiting for a home who will love her again. To meet Roxy, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com
