My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

3/7/08 As soon as Shasta is healthy enough to travel she will be making the trip north to meet her forever family. We're so happy for this sweet darlin'!

UPDATE 1-18-08 Shasta will be traveling to New England soon for foster care. You can meet her and see how sweet she is.

UPDATE 10/25/07: Shasta is doing very well, but no one has come forward to help her or her brother! They aren't very big and won't take up much room- please consider fostering them to buy them some more time. She is shy and very gentle. Everytime we tried to take a picture of her, she would close her eyes.
9/23/07: Shasta is an adorable young pup (approx. 3 months old). She came in with her brother, Stevie (at least we think they are siblings). These two are quite a pair! We're not sure what they are exactly, but they may be Mountain Cur or Shepherd mixes. They kiss each other and obviously love each other. You will fall in love with them if you see them in person (no hair and all). Both need a miracle because the shelter is overflowing again. You can tell that they will both be great pets!
