Beau's Story...
Meet Beau! This charming little Beagle/Dachshund mix just arrived at TRI and is looking for his new forever home. He is around 6 months old, only 15-20 lbs and just a wonderful little guy. He’s only been with the rescue for a few days, but we do know that he is very sweet and affectionate -- he loves to plop on your lap and get a good rub. Beau is a great little dog with a big dog personality and a great big heart.

Beau is a perfect age – quickly moving past all of the pesky puppy behaviors but still with plenty of energy for playing and exploring the world on walks. And, he will gladly give you his attention and shows excellent potential to be well trained. Beau loves everyone he has met so far – people and dogs alike. He will make a wonderful addition to any home.

So, if you’re looking for a little dog to make your family complete, contact Beau’s adoption consultant, Debby at 440-527-4926 or for more information! Beau can’t wait to meet his forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beau, a North Olmsted Dachshund/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle puppy from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
