Meghan's Story...
This is Meghan! She is a sweet medium-sized young adult mixed breed pup! Meghan was surrendered by her owner. She looks like she's smiling at you, don't you think?! Poor girl is obviously very scared at the shelter (she will shake in her kennel when the other dogs bark loudly). Please call Joan if you can foster her or if you know who her owner may be (870-739-1145).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meghan, a Marion Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Marion, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
