My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a 7 month old neutered male Miniature Poodle mix. I weigh about 13 pounds. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate pup, I'm the guy for you. I couldn't be more loving! I get along great with every dog I meet and I love making new human friends. I was brought to a high-kill shelter because I had developed infected lesions on my side. My previous family was experiencing some health issues themselves and there were no longer able to care for me properly. So, I wound up at the shelter fighting for a second chance at life. Because I was in such poor shape, the shelter staff gave me 3 days to find a new home and then I would be euthanized. My luck was about to run out when CageFree saved me. They rescued me from the shelter and sent me to see their private vet. My wounds are healing now and I already look so much better! I just needed the right antibiotics to help me heal. Now that I'm looking and feeling so much better, I am excited to find my new forever home. I'm playful and energetic, but can be the best lapdog, too!
