Willy: Male, Brown, 17 lbs, about 9 years , Long hair (curly), neutered male dachshund, Milo: Male, Brown/Black, short haired, dachshund/beagle mix, 9 years (adopted from Idaho Humane society in 2007, and was told he was 2 yrs). Neither have any known impairments.

They are both cat friendly, they are both dog friendly but when they first meet a dog they act aggressive and bark a lot, but after they get used to them they are fine. I would say that they are older kid friendly, not really for small, small kids. They are not really use to very young children and a lot of times really small kids don't know how to pick them up and support their backs.

Milo is absolutely obsessed with tennis balls, or any kind of balls. He loves to play catch. He also loves stuffed animals of any size, shape and color. Any time Milo goes outside he has to have a toy with him, so if I am not careful I end up with toys all over the yard. They both love to play, especially together. Willy doesn't play with toys very much but he will if Milo is. They also love to go for long walks. Willy does know how to play dead. We will ask him, "Would you rather be 'so-and-so' or a dead dog?" and he flops on his back with his feet up in the air. Very cute.

Love these dogs but must be surrendered due to work schedules and financial constraints.
