My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Runt. Runt was born Labor Day Weekend of 2012. Runt is new to rescue, he arrived 10/5/13,but I have all his vetting information. Runt lived on a farm with no limitations, so he is adapting to the fence yard, collar/leash, dog toys and housetraining. His mother, we know is a jack Russel mix, his father, our best guess is yellow lab. He is full grown and completely vetted, weighing 19 pounds, standing about one foot high. (Neutered, heartworm negaitive, flea meds, heart worm meds and dewormed.) He is short and stalky with the lab face. Because of his "breed", I included a picture of him next to our miniature doxie, for sizing, as well as, a close up. So far, Runt is very nervous and needy, lap dog!. He is great with kids and other dogs. He is the opposite of an alpha dog! He is making great progress, he is already eating dog food from a bowl, knows how to play with toys, wrestle with the other dogs, and is completely house trained! We are working on harness and leash, but he doesn't understand why he has it because he follows commands! He is available for adoption, if interested, please email us!
