Niko is a little over a year old. He is a medium-sized dog; approximately 40 pounds. We think he is an Australian Kelpie. Whatever he is, he is unique and handsome looking! He is neutered and housebroken in our home. Niko’s former guardian – who was blind – recently passed away. He was Niko’s whole world (and vice versa). Niko protected and guided him. Niko had nowhere to go, so we volunteered to take him.

He is a great dog and gets along perfectly with our dog. He’s a gentleman on leash and doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs who pass by us on our walks. As you see in the photos, he has found his “spot” on our chair and has enjoyed lounging and sleeping there ever since. He has been an easy and respectful guest. Niko has been through a lot for such a young dog, and we'd just like to see him go to a loving home. He truly deserves it!
