Macy's Story...
Macy is a beautiful Golden Retriever. Her coat is a gorgeous deep red color and so soft. Macy was found as a stray so not much is known about her background but she had just given birth to puppies and now that all of her puppies have found great homes, it's her turn to be pampered! She is about 2 years old, needs to put on a few pounds (don't we wish we all had that problem) but is just a lovebug! She is wonderful with other dogs and loves kids! Macy is in foster care in West TN but will be transported once an adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macy, a Hamburg Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
