Kayla's Story...
Kayla is approximately 7 months old and 15lbs. at 10-15-2013 - She is a wirehaired terrier mix and loves to play with her other terrier buddies. She enjoys walks and is currently working on basic obedience (heal, sit, down, stay, and come) just to make her extra special. She walks on your left side with a loose leash like a PRO! She is a very smart dog. She was doggie door trained and crate trained from scratch in ONE WEEK. She has no problems sleeping throughout the night in her crate, but would also enjoy sleeping in the bed (when she is allowed). She is not clingy and doesn’t mind keeping to herself with a squeaky toy. She usually greets people by coming up to them and sitting for pets and rubs. She is most excited when her people get home and goes nuts with happiness J. She goes to doggie daycare and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She does enjoy the company of other dogs and would love to have a doggie brother or sister. She is not a licker, biter, or jumper. Usually pretty calm and mellow unless she is wrestling her buddies. She is not cat tested, but I doubt she would dislike cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kayla, a Norwalk Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
