Olive's Story...
Oh my goodness...such big ears you have Olive for such a little girl...they just add to your cuteness... Olive has been doing very well in foster care enjoying the life with her canine sister and foster mom and dad. She is not too sure about her feline siblings and is working on getting use to them. She is slowly learning what fun her days can be and is so very sweet. In fact her foster parents think she should be called Maple she is so sweet. Olive is a mire 6 lbs but one of the sweetest girls you will meet. She gets along great with her foster sister but still hasn't opened up enough to play. Loves going for walks and has visited the dog park on occasion. Most of all she loves being with her person and will cuddle as close as she can to you. This girl is not one that needs a lot of activity and loves her sleep. She has been know to stay in bed in the early morning hours while others in the house are up and getting ready for the day.

One of Olives favorite activities is to have her ears rubbed and she does have the ears to rub that is for sure. Olive is house trained and has been a great little house guest. Her idea of the perfect home would be one that has someone around a lot to take walks with and relax on the couch afterwards. Check her out today. To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

Olive weighed 7 pounds when we rescued her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Phoenix Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
