Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Flynt is an absolutely gorgeous black lab boy, about 10 months old, rescued from a rural kill shelter just hours before he was to be euthanized for space in the shelter. We don't know how he ended up there, but it is obvious from his physical health and his extraordinarily happy demeanor that whoever owned him loved him at one point! Flynt is in excellent health, fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He weighs about 60 lbs. and is almost full grown. If he is a mixed breed, he has too much lab in him for us to tell what it is, so we are making no promises either way.
Flynt has an exuberant personality with a wonderful joy for life. Despite what he has been through, this boy remains happy, tail always wagging, and he has wonderful energy! He LOVES to play and run, and will need someone devoted to giving him the exercise and play time he desires. He loves to play 'catch" with himself using a stuffed snake. He tosses it in the air and goes to chase it and retrieves it! Flynt is learning basic manners and is now housebroken. He LOVES other dogs and loves to play with them. He ignores cats and is currently fostered with a cat. When he was fostered with dogs, he was outstanding with them. He will be fine around children as he is gentle, but his bouncy nature may cause very small children to get knocked down from his exuberance.
Labs make wonderful family pets and Flynt will be no exception. If you are looking for an amazing companion, please email MJsAnimalSanctuary@gmail.com and request an application for Flynt. Adopters subject to reference checks, vet reference, home visit, and meet and greet with all household members prior to adoption. Adoption fee applies.
