My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vinnie is a four-year-old, neutered, Lhasa Apso/schnauzer mix. He and his buddy Hurley were relinquished to The Pet Rescue Center just a few short weeks ago. After their owners had their first child 2 years ago, the boys were banned to the backyard life. With the second baby on the way their mom knew she had to do something better for them. After meeting these two kids it was clear that they would be wonderful pets for new loving families. Vinnie's got a great smile and seems to always be happy to see you. He plays well with others and is very sweet with children. He is fully house trained and would be a great couch buddy. He has a clean bill of health and would love to go to a new home as soon as he can find it. Come down to The PRC and meet him today!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
