Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lexy is an adorable, playful, and energetic shepherd mix. She came to us when her previous owner could no longer take care of her due to a change of lifestyle. Despite this rough start, Lexy is quite outgoing and will do well in a home where she has a good training regimen and can learn the benefits of a structured life. She has a lot of love to give and is sure to find her forever home with a calm caring individual. Lexy's previous owner reports that she is already crate and housetrained so that will leave more time for her training! We've noticed so far that Lexy catches on to training very quickly and will do quite well with an experienced owner who will continue her training. We're not sure how Lexy will be with cats but can test her here at the shelter if you're interested in adopting and have a feline in your home already. Lexy can be sensitive about how and where she is handled so a home without children under the age of 16 is required. Lexy is a wonderful dog who is in need of a good home; talk to an adoption counselor today to learn how you can take this sweet girl home!
