Josalynne's Story...
Meet Josalynne! Josalynne is a 1 year old spayed female shepherd mix! She was rescued from a high kill shelter where she was in danger of being euthanized, but she is safe now and ready to find her forever home!

This goofy girl is bound to make you smile. Josalynn is a big girl at 60lbs and she could stand to gain a few more, but all the better to make a great ole puppy pillow. She has ginormous paws and when she walks she looks like a lion with a dog's head. Josalynn should make a great family pet because nothing seems to rattle her. She greeted all the dogs she met easily and didn't react to the higher energy ones getting in her face. Very huggable and loving, Josalynn is more than happy to plop down at your feet and roll over for a belly rub. She gave a glance at the kitties but didn't make any move to go after them.

Josalynn is a very well mannered lady who is lovely on a leash. She had little or no interest in a cat who was quietly sitting in a lap as she headed out for a walk. She gave it a sniff and then off she went!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josalynne, a Kimberton Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
