Max's Story...
Max is a Finnish Spitz whose owner passed away and the family didn't want to keep him. He is about five years old, house trained, and weighs 17 pounds. Max is a very friendly and social little lap dog with a great personality. He loves to play and he loves to snuggle. He is not a barker and isn't hyper. His foster mom calls him "one fantastic dog" and if she didn't have too many already she would just keep him herself! Max's vet care is up to date and he is hoping for a forever home soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Osseo Finnish Spitz dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Finnish Spitz for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Finnish Spitz dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Finnish Spitz breeders who help with Finnish Spitz rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
