Hot Rod's Story...
Hi! My name is Hot Rod. I am a super sweet American Bully guy and I am just looking for my furever home! I am a great ambassador for my breed. I would excel in obedience work or as a therapy dog. I am 1 year old, weigh about 50 pounds, and I love dogs and kids. I am neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines and on flea and heartworm prevention. The vet has checked me out and given me a clean bill of health! I have a very mild cleft lip, but it doesn't slow me down at all and doesn't need any special attention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $275, and covers all of my vetting, and includes the transport fee--I am currently being fostered in South Carolina, but I can catch a ride up north to meet my new family. Please email my rescue at daybeforetherainbow@yahoo.com to get an adoption application! Thanks for checking me out!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hot Rod, a Newark American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Newark, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Newark.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newark already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newark breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newark paves the way for another one to be saved.
