My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oreo's family could no longer afford to keep him. He is a quiet affectionate 2 year old canine. Oreo's owner said he is house trained. He has been a pleasant guest since his arrival. Oreo is a social boy. This fellow is dog friendly but has not been around cats. He deserves a good 'dogs' life.

At the end of November 2013, Oreo was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. Hee is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Oreo is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend between 10-12 weeks at the prison and will not return to Friendship until his training is complete. If you are interested in adopting Oreo, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS ARE STILL BE ACCEPTED FOR OREO.
