~About me~

Hi! I'm Paislee! I'm almost 4 years old (my birthday is in January). I am a sweet little girl and weigh in around 15lbs. I love people and especially my foster dad, I am his shadow. I need a few days to warm up as I am kind of anxious in new situations. If you give me some time, you won't regret it!

I like other dogs, but since I have a bobtail they don't always know what to make of me. I met my kitty foster sister, and I don't really care about her at all. I love children, but probably would be best with kids that are a little older (7 years+) but that's just because of my size and anxiety. I could make an exception for the right child.

I'm incredibly intelligent. I know many commands and am very obedient. I don't get into anything around the house, and am perfectly crate trained. I do have a pretty huge bark for my size, and am not a fan of strangers walking by the house.

I'm still being evaluated by my foster family, but I should be available for adoption within the next few weeks. You can fill out an application on our website @ www.poetanimalrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paislee, a Garden City Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Garden City, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
