Timber's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Timber's Story...
A member of Timber's human family has developed allergies to him so his family is rehoming him.

Timber is a very healthy neutered male. He adores other dogs and is great with small children. He has been around children since he was a puppy. He is well crate trained and goes into his crate anytime he gets sleepy. He needs a home with another dog, and ideally a yard. Timber is a very high energy dog and needs a lot of exercise. He is very loving and playful. He absolutely goes bonkers if he is totally alone as he has never been without another dog. The dog he has grown up with has already been placed. He has been to dog daycare and boarding often and loves group play and being around other dogs.

He will pull pretty hard on walks sometimes, he's fast and loves to run. He is current on heartworm medication and has been taking the one that combines flea treatment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timber, a Westerville Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Westerville, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Westerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
