If you are looking for a real, stay-with-you-through-thick-and-thin dog, then Buddy is the guy for you. His name is so appropriate as he truly wants to be someone’s best Buddy! He is an incredibly loyal companion and has a ton of love to give to his new dad, mom or family. We first met Buddy at a shelter. We were walking through when a little white paw reached out from a kennel and softly touched my arm. I got Buddy out of his cage and he hugged my arm so tightly and looked at me, those eyes pleading “pick me, pick me”, so we just had to get him out. He has been an absolute joy to have here at Cedar Farm, but now it is time for Buddy to find his real forever home. He has simple needs and is an easy dog to take care of. He is crate-trained, housebroken and walks nicely on leash. He gets along with other dogs and does well with our cats. Buddy is 18 months old and weighs 10 lbs. He needs to continue eating good food and should probably put on another couple of pounds to be completely filled out. Buddy is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his shots. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
