Mikey's Story...
Hello! I’m Mikey and I am just so happy to meet you! I am beautiful, warm-hearted fellow who is a little shy to start with, but then I warm right up and will want to be friends with you. Speaking of friends, I also want you meet my best friend Ozzie. We are really hoping to find a home together, as we’ve been BFFs for quite some time now.

We had a wonderful home in the past, but sadly our person passed away. Fortunately, he left instructions for us to be brought to MaxFund. So Ozzie and I have both suffered a big loss, and we would feel much happier if we could be together in a new family.

As you can see, I am a beautiful tabby cat. I know I am the more handsome of the two, but I don’t want to hurt Ozzie’s feelings so I let him think that he is the most handsome. Ozzie is more outgoing than I am though. He makes friends instantly with everyone. I like to check someone out just a bit before I decide to be friends, but I warm up very quickly with just a bit of attention. But we are both sweet and easy going, and what the staff calls “lover boys”!

So what do you think? Do you have enough love in your heart for two wonderful boys? Come visit us today so we can find out!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikey, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
