Autumn in TN's Story...
Autumn Autumn is a 5 1/2 month old Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherd and German Shepherd Mix. She is a very sweet girl, who just needs a little more socialization to become a rockstar. She is very lean, with long legs and extremely athletic. She is very affectionate. Her personality in public is somewhat unsure, but not spooky or fearful. The more she sees, the more she wants to see!! Autumn has been good with all dogs of various sizes, plays daily in a Doggie Daycare setting, has begun Basic Obedience Class and has picked up on positions, stay and loose lease walking. She is not a jumper. She will chase a cat that runs, but ignores those that stand their ground. Autumn's energy level is medium. She has her crazy moments, but settles quickly after exercise. She is crate trained, only whining a little after first going in.
Autumn is spayed (as of 10/1/13), current on vaccines, heartworm negative, free of internal and external parasites, and microchipped. She is located in Cookeville, TN but NADSR does adopt out nationally.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn in TN, a Jamestown Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois for sale in Jamestown, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois puppy from a breeder in Jamestown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jamestown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jamestown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jamestown paves the way for another one to be saved.
