Mia's Story...
Mia (9 years old) is a cute, tiny girl that loves cuddling. She isn't a speedy pug but she makes up for that in persistence. She loves tomatoes and has cleaned the branches of the cherry tomato plant that hang over the garden fence of her foster family. Mia has the softest little bark that is hard to even hear if she isn't close. Mia gets along great with her foster family's two pugs but she would also do great on her own. She doesn't mind a crate but would be much happier with space to explore. She is house trained with a couple of early exceptions during her transition time. Mia is shy around bigger dogs and would do great with a single person or a small family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Hinckley Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Hinckley, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Hinckley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hinckley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hinckley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hinckley paves the way for another one to be saved.
