My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Dory! I am a 1 year old Border Collie mix. I was taken to a South Jersey animal shelter as a stray where my time quickly became up. Thankfully, PBF came along and rescued me. Now that I have a second chance, I'm on a mission to find my forever home. Maybe it's with you?

Dory is good with most of the dogs she meets. She has weekly play sessions with dogs to keep her socialized. We haven't thoroughly tested her with cats, but she has met a cat while she was on leash and she didn't show any signs of aggression, so we have high hopes she'd be able to live with a kitty-friend. Dory sometimes jumps up on people and because of her size, we'd recommend she live with kids that are taller than her.

Dory would love a home with a big, fenced in backyard where she can run around and play with her toys. Dory can be very calm and cuddly at times, but she's a young dog with a lot of energy, so she likes to stay active. One of her favorite activities are learning new tricks. She already knows how to "sit," "down," and "paw". Dory also likes Kong treats, doggie puzzles, fetch, and Tug O' War. Dory is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.
