My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

VELVET is the classic sleek black kitten, with gold eyes that talk to you. She is a spayed female 18 weeks old on 10/25/13.

VELVET and her brother EBONY are in that lean and lanky stage full of fun and mischief. They rule the house, finding all the toys wherever they have been squirreled in nooks and crannies all over. A constant music of rattles and tinkles and footfalls as they scamper from one direction to another. Have you had your belly full of laughs today?

VELVET is a talker when food is in the offing. Ebony is the squeaker even while they are playing. Rattle a bowl, and a chorus of two will dedicate full attention to you. Twins at play, twins at rest. At this stage, these kittens really should be placed together in their forever home.

But the most important thing is that these kittens love to be petted and handled. They purr and flirt, waving their tails like flags and arching their backs in anticipation of getting attention. Easy to pick up, less easy to hold for long. They are kittens who belong in a home with children where they will get all the attention they need and deserve.
