Ellebea's Story...
Ellebea is a 3-4 year old purebred English Cocker Spaniel. She is very friendly and sweet and is laid back as almost all English Cockers are. She came from a breeder who passed away so she now needs a loving long term home. She has been spayed and had a dental cleaning, dental x-rays and extractions of her some incisor teeth that were infected. The rest of her teeth look great. She does have a condition called dry eye, which requires daily eye drops long term.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellebea, a Seneca Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Seneca, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Seneca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seneca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seneca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seneca paves the way for another one to be saved.
