Harlow's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and declawed.

Harlow's Story...
I'm a sweet Himmie who lost my home through no fault of my own and am hoping to start over with a new person or family. I'm sweet tempered, gentle and calm (I come off as being aloof but I really love affection). My favorite things are to be brushed and groomed and, of course, admired. My buddy has been adopted and I feel so all alone. Do you have room in your heart to give me a second chance?

Harlow's adoption fee is $80; she is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. For more information on Harlow, contact Helping Strays at 618-282-7387.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harlow, a Columbia Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
