Laura Linney's Story...
Do you know what Laura Linney the 1.5 year old 30 lb Border Collie mix is looking for? Not a bone, not a treat...it's Love Actually. Though we think she'd go for those other things too, of course! But what Laura wants most is somebody who will give her love and attention and help her feel confident after all of the confusion of being at the shelter. She is described as being quirky with a wonderful spirit by those that have spent some quality time with her. Can you give this quirky fun girl a home to call her own?

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro-chipped. Email seespotrescued@gmail.com for an adoption application or download it here: http://bit.ly/SSR-0413 . DOGS SEEN VIA APPT ONLY! Please check out and LIKE us on www.facebook.com/seespotrescued. You will see more pictures of this dog and all our dogs available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laura Linney, a Jersey City Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Jersey City, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Jersey City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jersey City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jersey City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jersey City paves the way for another one to be saved.
