My story

My name is Picasso, because with a coat like mine, I am a work of art :-) I am a 2 1/2 year old purebred English Pointer who is in need of a new home. I was born on Christmas Day 2010. My owner/breeder is downsizing and so I am looking for a home that will love me forever, and Critter Cavalry has promised to help me find that home. I am living in a foster home now learning what it is like to be a real house dog and so far I LOVE IT!! I have adjusted so well, it is like I have always been here. My mom calls me "Velcro", because I love to be right near you. I am not needy, I just like to be close to you when you are around. I love all people and try to be a lap dog, but at 65 pounds sometimes it is hard to fit! I love other dogs and cats are okay too....as a matter of fact, I just completely ignore them. I am learning new things everyday, as I have not had a lot of outside influences in my life, but I am being brave and facing these new adventures head on! My foster mom is so proud of me and says I will be a great dog for anyone who wants a loving companion and best friend forever! I am great on a leash and love to go for long slow walks. A fenced yard will be necessary for me to stretch my legs and help me get the exercise I will need to stay fit and trim. Or, a running partner would be great too!
