Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Did you know that the name Ophelia means ‘help’? And goodness does it look like you are lonely; I bet you need a little help. It’s ok little champion, I know it is a big world out there; a world full of scary and disconcerting things around every corner. The best way to navigate these obstructions of uncertainty is with the buddy system! Well, it just so happens that I am looking for a buddy too! I can be nervous and uncertain of new things, and the best thing to help with that is a patient and gentle family where I can feel safe and secure. My whole world has been thrown for a loop recently, and I’d really love to find a place where I can finally settle in and get all the love and care that I need. I get along with other dogs swell, and I am even used to living with kitty cats! Kids 7+ who know how to take it slow and easy with me would be wonderful. Bonus: I’m already housebroken and crate trained too. You know that old saying “you’ll get by with a little help from your friends”? Well I say, “you’ll get by with a little Ophelia for a friend”! 5 years old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.
