Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Teddy! I think Iâm a German shepherd/Collie/Pyrenese puppy, and I was born in early August of 2013. My foster mommy thinks Iâm going to be a big boy because my feet are huge and when I run, she thinks I look like Iâm doing the breaststroke (but I think I look quite graceful!). She says that Iâm very sweet, gentle and good-natured. I currently share my foster house with three cats and Murphy, a Rottweiler Shepherd cross. Iâm told Iâm very clever because I instinctively know that the cats donât want to play with me especially the elderly one who can no longer run or jump. I absolutely love all of the two legged humans in this house and am most content when I am close to them. I already know several words and commands and will do anything to please you. I have short bursts of energy when I love to play âTug of Warâ%9D or fetch the âsqueaky toyâ%9D. Iâd really love to play with that Murphy dog but no amount of bum wiggling, bouncing or talking can convince him. Mummy tells me that he has lived with cats for so long that he thinks he is one! I have a penchant for smelly socks which I steal from the laundry basket so my foster mummy has to keep an âeyeâ%9D on me. After only a week and my potty training has been exceptional. We are working on my crate training and during the day I settle quickly. Night times are scary for me and sometimes I need reassurance, but I am improving every day! I have so much love to give I just need a forever home. Iâm a little clumsy and have this habit of running into things so Iâm perhaps best with humans who have steady legs!
The poky needle lady (vet) says Iâll be a big boy when Iâm fully grown, perhaps between 80 and 100 pounds but still full of love. I am an inside dog who has yet to find my bark, whatever love you can give me I will return tenfold.
Love and puppy kisses Teddy
P.S My foster daddy says that if Iâm not adopted soon heâll be the one listed on the web site âbecause mummy loves me moreâ%9D. So watch this space, 6ft, grey haired, blue eyed human, house trained with selective hearing. Needs loving home, preferably with Saskatchewan Roughrider fan!
