Sadie's Story...
Hello all....my name is Sadie, I am about 6 years old and love everyone I meet. I am a calm Jack Russell Terrier that is looking for that special lap to curl up on.

Not long ago I was in a home but for some reason they decided I could no longer stay there, I really don't know why. I did not make messes, jump around and bark all the time, nor did I hurt anyone, I am still confused as to why they sent me away.

Although I am not at home anymore I am okay with waiting here at the sanctuary for a little while till someone comes and takes me home with them. I enjoy being petted, paid attention to, going for walks and just hanging out by someone or curled up in my own little bed.

Please come on in and meet me, we can become the best of friends. Right now they tell me I am little on the chunky side but that is just more of me to love....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Port Clinton Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Port Clinton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Port Clinton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Clinton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Clinton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Clinton paves the way for another one to be saved.
