Wanda's Story...
Hi there, my name is Wanda! I am a chubby little 4 years old lemon beagle who loves my daily walks as part of my weight loss program! I have lost some weight since I was rescued out of the shelter by the wonderful folks at AZBR and I am getting my girlish figure back! I am housebroken and can use the doggie door. I like to follow my foster mom around and take a snooze wherever she happens to be. I can give you my paw and I love to give beagle kisses! I am a good girl and hardly ever bark. Please consider me to be your faithful companion - I promise you will not be disappointed!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wanda, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
