Harmony's Story...
Harmony’s owner recently passed away, and he is looking for someone to offer him a new home where he won’t feel lonely.

He is a 7 year-old Lab mix who would prefer an active household. This quiet boy is very dog- and kid-friendly, and he looks forward to a lot of playtime. He grew up in the Prescott area and loves spending time outside. Harmony is used to regular 3-4 mile hikes in the mountains, so he’d love to find someone wants a running or hiking companion.

Harmony has good leash manners. Since he is very treat motivated, it would be easy to improve on his basic obedience skills. When you meet him, you’ll love him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harmony, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
