SHELLI - American Staffordshire Terrier mix, female, 2 years. When you think of bully breeds, you often think of a boisterous dog who is a bit of a clown, but Shelli is a bit more subtle. This beautiful girl was found abandoned in a house, she was a bit shy when she arrived but is coming out of her shell and showing us what a sweet girl she is. It was quickly discovered that she is a sucker for a piece of cheese and that she is eager to please, which is why she is currently attending Canine Good Citizen class. Shelli might as well show off how smart she is! Shelli does very well with other dogs and is gentle with people and children. She enjoys being with people and appreciates a good belly rub. Shelli has good house manners although since she is so food motivated she may need to be crated or kept out of the kitchen when home alone as she will counter surf. We do not know how she would be with cats.
