Here's what the humans have to say about me:
1/3/14 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!
ADOPTION FEE: $500
Fostered in Texas
Weight: 5.13 lbs.
Age: 2 years
11/20/13 - Willy was an owner surrender to a kill shelter. No explanation for the surrender was given to us, but when one of our foster homes saw his sweet little face, she just had to run down and get him out of there. He’s been in his foster home almost three weeks now, so we thought we would let him give you some info.
Hi, my name appears to be Willy and I’m learning it quite well. I’m getting along fine with the other pups here. I love foster mom (FM) and dad (FD) and do not show partiality to either. I’m just people oriented. I haven’t really taken an interest in toys yet, but I might learn to play with them later.
I enjoy sleeping in bed with FM and FD and my fur foster siblings, but I have to admit, it gets a little crowded. At times and I’ll get down in the middle of the night or wee hours of the morning and FM will wake up to me sleeping on the bench by the window. I might be tiny, but I do need my space to get my beauty rest.
I have a good appetite and am not food aggressive at all. I usually go outside to do my business and am ready to come right back in. But if the weather is nice, I might explore for a bit and soak in a little Vitamin D. Even though I will do my business outside, if you do not let me out often enough, I will have mistakes. I have that tiny bladder syndrome. Also, I will be neutered today (11/20/13) and have been marking my territory more just because I have more hormones raging through my body.
I’m getting more used to the normal household noises here and although I’m not terrified, I’m still cautious. When I’m excited, I shake like a Chihuahua, but when I’m mad, I paw the floor like a bull. So I guess you can say that I’m a combination of timid and cocky. I am tiny, so cannot go to a home with children. Also, even though I don’t seem to be a darter or escape artist, I’m so small that I can fit through very small openings and should be watched very carefully and picked up or put up when a door or gate is open.
I was more clingy to FM and FD when I first arrived because I was desperate for love and attention. This is subsiding a little and I am ok to sit on the floor and not have to be right by them all the time now. With that being said, I do still love to sit in laps and be held and can jump up on sofa to sit with my humans. I enjoy giving kisses and will even paw at your face.
Wish me luck with my neuter today and don’t waste any more time with going online to fill out your application for me. I consider myself a catch and if I’m on the site too long, I’ll just adopt myself.
