Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Vivian’s joyful and curious spirit will brighten your mornings for years to come! It’s impossible to be grumpy when she’s around! Her quick intelligence and love of treats make her a breeze to train. She’s a girl with her own mind though so patience is important! But you’ll be more than rewarded by her fun personality. Simply watching her play and investigate her world provides hours of amusement for her human companions! As for the basics, she’s potty trained, knows sit, come and shake, rides well in a car, and gets along great with dogs, people, children and kitties. She has a fairly high energy level but is very low maintenance because she entertains herself so well. If everyone is busy, she grabs a toy and a cozy spot and plays or wrestles with the residents dogs. She’s also drop dead gorgeous! Vivian would be a great playmate for a home with an energetic dog who loves to play. Vivian is approximately 1 year old and weighs 35 pounds.
Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom & dad are!), we are guessing on breed and size when grown.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.
If you are interested in meeting this dog or pup please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday January 11, 2014, at Bethel Luthern Church located at 4120 17th Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55407, from noon - 2 pm. Occasionally dogs cannot make it to the Meet & Greet, therefore feel free to verify if your dog of interest is able to attend.
