My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted 11-11-13; unavailable.

Perris is less than 2 year old & weighs 4.5 lbs. She's a Yorkshire Terrier mix female. This tiny darling was emaciated, filthy & matted. The neighbors said the dog had been living in the park for weeks. No owner was located so Perris is in need of a new forever home. This little angel is house trained, sleeps all night, is calm & very friendly. Perris will make a gem of a companion for someone. She LOVES people. Perris is so low maintenance & is an all around easy, good dog. She has all the Yorkie traits - she's happy, affectionate, sweet, & smart. She has an excellent temperament. Perris would do best in a home as an only pet; she's been afraid of the 2 small dogs in her foster home. That could change once she's settled in & we'll change this if it happens. Either all adults or adults with older children (12 years & up who have small dog experience & know how to properly treat a small dog) would work for her. Perris is spayed, dewormed, microchipped & groomed. She's had a vet exam & a parasite test. The vet reports that Perris appears to be in good health, has good teeth; & no parasites/worms. We're having titer tests done to determine if she's already been fully vaccinated. If she needs any of the core vaccines (distemper, parvo, rabies), those will be provided before she goes to her new forever home.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog & save the life of a homeless pet!
