Hi!
My name is Checkers and I'm a 4 yr. old Pekingese/Spaniel mix - a big bundle of love in a small 17 lb. package! My favorite thing to do is to sit on your lap or next to you while you are watching tv -you can't help but pet me while I'm there. I will follow you everywhere - you only need call me once and I'm right by your side. I get along with other dogs - but will give them a warning growl when they are up in my face or sniffing my parts (after all, they belong to me!). Cats are no problem at all - I totally ignore them. I like to take walks on a leash, but really don't care to go outside alone. Wouldn't you like to give me a new home in time for the new year? In a few days you won't even notice that I'm blind.

I'm being fostered in Atlantic County, NJ and my asking adoption fee is $225.
