Romeo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Romeo's Story...
Loving and affectionate! Romeo's foster parents found him meowing up at them on their deck from the ground below. This kitty is a beauty who gets along with other cats and dogs and has enjoyed the company of human guests in his foster home. Not shy -- he loves everyone, will allow pets from guests. He often gives kitty kisses when held, and has shown a devoted desire to be around his caretakers. He may meow a few times if he does not know where they are, quickly stopping once he knows location.

Consistently perfect with the litter pan. No accidents. Has claws, no scratching issues. Romeo is very playful – loves toys and catnip. When he is engaged in play with a person, he sometimes gives play bites that do not hurt or break skin; know this, though, in case little children unfamiliar with cats play with him. He responds favorably to being picked up and held for a short time. Will often purr when held. I strongly recommend him for a household in which at least one person is usually around. He does get lonely when he is by himself for extended time. (The foster parents have two other cats, or else would keep him in a heartbeat!)

Romeo is neutered, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. His estimated date of birth is 4/29/2012.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
