Opie's Story...
Opie is a precious little cock a poo mix, he is approx 3 yrs old and 15.9 lbs, he will need an experienced adopter and no small kids, he is a little bit of a fear”nipper” not biter. he tries to nip at you when scared, its more of a warning nip, you have to be very careful picking him up as that can scare him, once he gets to know and trust you he is fine but will need some tlc and patience to work with him, he gets along with the other rescues, but does like to bark at them, so might be better in a home as an only dog or one more dog, he likes to hide in his crate for security,he does love to go on walks and seems to be quite well house trained, he has been treated for heart worms and is on a monthly preventative.. he does not like the vet….he will need an adult only home and lots of love..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opie, a Norwalk Cockapoo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockapoo for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Cockapoo dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockapoo breeders who help with Cockapoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
