Bella's Story...
Bella is a beautiful Plott hound mix who gave birth to a litter of 11 puppies on June 21, 2013. All her puppies have been adopted and now it is her turn. She will be undergoing heart-worm treatment soon and once she is cleared from this, she will be spayed. Bella is an absolute love and loves nothing better than to lay by your side and cuddle. She does have a fear of loud noises like fireworks and sudden loud sounds but she is not aggressive in any way. She just tries to find a place to hide when she gets scared. She is currently in a foster home as she prepares for the heartworm treatment. She will need to have a lot of quiet time once treatment starts.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Cranston Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
