Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dickens and his sister Noelle (and their mama) were among a large number of dogs seized from home where they were simply not being taken care of properly. But you can't keep a great dog down and these pups are living proof.
These pups are both silly and sweet and all that a puppy should be. They are doing pretty good at sleeping in a crate all by themselves now too.
You can see their mama in one of the pictures and it is clear she is a Black Lab mixed probably with Border Collie, and the pups' papa was most likely Border Collie too. They are around eight weeks old as of 11/11/13 and will most likely be around 40 pounds.
You can complete and submit the application right from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - found under Resources OR you can email us at throwmeabonerescue@gmail.com.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed, de-flea'd, is up to date on shots, is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a leash & collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
