Cruz's Story...
You will "Cruz" through life with this beautiful boy by your side. Young and full of life this special boy some how beat the odds and was at the pound for over 3 months before he found himself on the euthanasia list. Lucky for us because he is an awesome boy. LIke most labs he loves loves loves to play ball and is very smart. He has a beautiful reddish coat and the personality that will win hearts where ever he goes. He can be a bit over excited when you first meet him but give him a couple of minutes and he is very well behaved. He is very strong and will pull some so an easy walk harness is suggested.

Cruz is so easy going that he would fit into several different types of homes. He gets along great with all he meets and as long as his energy level is satisfied he is happy. An active family that likes to take hikes or maybe a camping trip or two is on Cruz's wish list. Or maybe you are looking for a running partner, Cruz would be happy to join you. Don't make this wonderful boy wait another day, check out our Cruz today - www.azrescue.org.

Cruz weighed 59.1 pounds when we saved him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cruz, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
