My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pilgrim is a happy go lucky hound mix that was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky. His time was running out and Friendship stepped in to save him. Pilgrim is a super friendly and active fellow that loves to run and play in the fenced in area at the shelter. He would love his own fenced in backyard. According to the volunteer in the photo, he knows some basic commands. Since he's from another facility not much is known about him. Stop by and spend some time with Pilgrim to see if he's the dog of your dreams. This handsome boy is 3 years old. Pilgrim is not thrilled always being in a cage and let's you know it. You will probably hear him when you come to visit. Once out he quiets down. He likes some dogs but not others.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
